Founded in 2013 by Chuck and Tracey Hargreaves, Home Exterior Restoration Experts, LLC was built on a vision of combining craftsmanship, quality, and affordability to help homeowners enhance and protect their most valuable investment—their homes.

Chuck discovered his passion for construction while attending the Kent County Vocational Program in high school. After graduation, he pursued construction as a career and, more than 20 years later, continues to dedicate himself to the trade. Tracey brought her expertise from the corporate business world, partnering with Chuck to turn their shared dream of business ownership into reality. Together, they established Home Exterior Restoration Experts, LLC as a family-owned and community-focused company.

While the business began with a focus on roofing, the scope expanded in 2020 to include siding, windows, doors, patios, decks, and seamless gutters—allowing homeowners to work with one trusted contractor for all their exterior improvement needs.

Today, we are proud to be CertainTeed Master Shingle Applicators, Siding Applicators, and Restoration Milwork Applicators, offering high-quality materials backed by CertainTeed’s exceptional 4-star warranties. While CertainTeed remains a cornerstone of our work, we also partner with a wide network of suppliers to provide the flexibility to deliver exactly what each homeowner envisions.

Beyond the job site, Chuck and Tracey enjoy spending time with their children and extended family, managing their farm, and giving back through their non-profit youth rodeo organization. Their commitment to hard work, integrity, and community involvement continues to shape the company’s values and the service homeowners can count on.
